Wellington Community Net (WCN) is a free website hosting service for community groups and organisations based in the Wellington region. WCN is also a community service programme providing ICT-related information and advice to community groups in the region. WCN is funded by the Wellington City Council and managed by Wellington ICT, a not-for-profit community Trust.

Environment
The computer collection e-Days carried out in 2006 and 2007 were very successful. Another collection day is tentatively scheduled for 4 October 2008. We will keep you informed as the planning team confirms arrangements for the day.

WCN News

In July 2007 work started on preparations for a review of WCN. The review is scheduled for completion in May 2008, however Wellington ICT has requested a three-month delay (to August 2008) as much of the preparatory work still has not been completed. We will keep you posted on progress.
